Yes, however we cannot guarantee complete odour removal — anything soaked down into the padding, subfloor or the frame of a couch is below where cleaning reaches. Most odours, though, sit in the fibres themselves, and extraction pulls that residue out rather than masking it, so they come out fully.

Occasionally one reappears. If a spill soaked down into the backing or padding, it can wick back up to the surface as the carpet dries — that's the old spill resurfacing, not the cleaning failing. Let us know if you see it and we'll take another pass at it.

The professional recommendation is every six months, but in practice most homes do well with a thorough cleaning once a year. Pets, kids, allergies or heavy traffic are what push you closer to the six-month mark.
